What happens if the Researcher cancels or No Shows?

If the researcher does not cancel any scheduled booking for a project within 24 hours of the study, the researcher is liable to pay respondent incentives in full.

 

If the researcher does not show up for the schedule session they are still obligated to provide you with payment. In this case, here are the steps you can take to ensure payment: 

1. Reach out to the researcher via the Messages option with the following message while editing the bold text with the appropriate day and time: 

I attended our session on (insert date here) at (insert time here), and per Respondents terms I am supposed to be paid for my time. You can see the cancellation policy here: https://help.respondent.io/calendar-and-bookings/cancellation-policy 

Please mark me as "Attended" for this session and issue my payment.

2. If the participant marks you as No Show, please reach out to the Respondent team at support@respondent.io with the name of the project, the scheduled booking time, and a screenshot of the message that you sent to the researcher via messaging. At that time, our team will intervene with the researcher.
